FaceShift ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information when you use FaceShift at faceshift.online.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, and hashed password when you register.
Session data: timestamps, duration, and usage counters for each FaceShift session you run.
Payment data: subscription tier and billing status. Card details are handled exclusively by Paystack and are never stored on our servers.
Camera / microphone streams: your video and audio are streamed directly to our AI processing infrastructure in real time. We do not store, record, or retain any video or audio content.
Technical logs: IP address, browser type, and error logs for debugging purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account.
To provide, operate, and improve the FaceShift service.
To enforce subscription limits and process billing via Paystack.
To send transactional emails (account verification, support replies).
To detect and prevent abuse or unauthorised access.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

AI Processing , to deliver the real-time face-swap stream. Video data is processed in-session and not retained.
Paystack , to process payments. See Paystack's Privacy Policy.
Law enforcement, if required by applicable law.

4. Data Retention

Account and session data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at admin@faceshift.online.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures including bcrypt password hashing, HTTPS, HMAC-verified webhooks, and parameterised database queries to protect your data.

6. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at admin@faceshift.online with any requests.

8. Children

FaceShift is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of FaceShift after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
